Healthcare Assistant & Operating Department Skills
This course will equip the learner with the skills, knowledge and competence required to work as a healthcare assistant in any healthcare setting but in particular within an operating department in Acute Hospitals. You will work as part of the existing skilled team in direct patient care. This course is open to anyone with an interest in working in an acute hospital setting. You will be introduced to specific operating department care skills, alongside core modules such as Infection prevention & Control and Health & Safety.
