Sports, Recreation & Exercise
Our Sport, Recreation & Exercise course is ideal for anyone with an interest in sports, and will prepare you to progress to a wide range of sport-related Higher Education courses. In addition, you will have the opportunity to complete additional certification in coaching and fitness training. We’re linked with the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) and you will have opportunities to further your skills and coaching abilities in a range of team sports.
You will study the theory of Sport and Recreation, fitness, nutrition and a range of team coaching awards. You will study the theory required to gain an understanding of the various elements of the sport and fitness industry. This combination of practical and knowledge study will support you to access a range of career opportunities. You can progress to Higher Education courses, or directly to work.

- FAI – Kickstart Soccer Coaching
