The teaching staff and management of Carlow Institute are absolutely delighted to welcome our 2020/21 students.

The energy that the student population have brought back to our building is fantastic.

The positive attitudes experienced during the classroom and remote teaching components of the courses since the return of classes has shown that the new teaching methods can and will allow a full and rewarding college experience for our students.

The very best of luck for the coming year.

Be sure to ask for help with any difficulties you may be experiencing through your Class teacher and Coordinator, we are here to help you get the very best from your studies.

Work Placement

Dear Employer

Thank you for your continued support of our students. In line with DES Guidelines (https://www.education.ie/en/Press-Events/Press-Releases/2020-press-releases/12-march-2020-statement-from-the-department-of-education-and-skills.html) Carlow Institute is closed to learners until March 29th and subsequently we are not expecting our students to attend work placement.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this but these are exceptional circumstances.

Again we thank you for your continued support.
