If you are a post-leaving cert student or a mature student interested in exploring teaching, (Primary, Post-Primary, or teaching in Further Education), as a career, then this course is for you. The course offers a diverse range of modules to enhance your understanding of the Irish Education system. It also focuses on building the key skills: communication, critical reflection, and research skills necessary for educational settings.
There is also the option to take Leaving Certificate Irish at a Higher Level. This course also provides a wide range of subjects and provides a broad foundation in education studies which will really help prepare you for further study. You’ll find many options for progression, and many potential career pathways.
