Renewable energy technology has developed in recent years and is ever more important worldwide, This Renewable Energy Technology course addresses the fundamentals of renewable energy technology. Students will study the underlying principles of energy, engineering, construction, and control systems essential in the design and maintenance of renewable energy systems.

It will enable students to develop an understanding of renewable energy systems and sustainability issues. It will develop their understanding of the existing technologies including solar photovoltaic (PV), solar thermal and wind turbine systems and their essential layer of control as used in domestic as well as commercial applications.
